Board Member of the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers. Member of Business Executives for National Security (BENS) and Co-Chair of BENS Energy Council. 

Board Member of San Diego State University Campanile Foundation. As a director, serves on the Finance and Investment Committee and the Audit Committee. Member of the San Diego State University National Campaign Council.

Serves on the Court of Trustees for the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies in Canterbury, Kent, England.

Continuing Education includes on-going participation in the National Association for Corporate Directors (NACD) Corporate Governance Education Programs, and is an NACD Board Leadership Fellow. Completed The Wharton School’s Corporate Governance Program: Fresh Insights and Best Practices for Directors.  Completed the Oxford Scenarios Programme at the Said Business School, University of Oxford.
