•  Managing Director of Blessing Petroleum Group, LLC,
founded in 1989. 

•  Serving as an Independent Director of NGP Capital
Resources Company since its inception in 2004.  Chair of the Nominating and
Corporate Governance Committee and member of the Audit and Compensation
Committees.

•  Board Member of the Texas Alliance of Energy
Producers.  Member of the Board for the Foundation for Energy Education. 

•  Non-profit Executive Committees and Boards include the
San Diego State University Campanile Foundation Board and the Finance and
Investment Committee, San Diego State University National Campaign Council,
and Presiding Member of the Park City Club.

• Serves on the Court of Trustees for the Institute of
Heraldic and Genealogical Studies in Canterbury, Kent, England.

• Continuing Education includes on-going participation
in the National Association for Corporate Directors (NACD) Corporate
Governance Education Programs, and is a 2011 NACD Board Leadership Fellow. 
Completed The Wharton School’s Corporate Governance Program: Fresh Insights
and Best Practices for Directors in March 2010.  In May 2010, completed the
Oxford Scenarios Programme at the Said Business School, University of
Oxford.

•  Consultant with McKinsey & Company after graduating
with an M.B.A. from Harvard University.

•  Honorably discharged from the US Marine Corps.
